プロフェッショナル医療通訳士コース
Bridging the Gap は米国で最も歴史があり、信頼されている医療通訳士養成プログラムです。これまでに本プログラムの修了生から米国認定医療通訳士資格取得者を輩出してきました。
本プログラムは、米国認定医療通訳士資格の受験資格を得るための承認プログラムであり、全64時間のカリキュラムにはメンタルヘルス分野における医療通訳士の役割と基礎も含まれています。
修了後には修了証（CERTIFICATE）が発行され、米国の遠隔医療通訳サービスエージェンシーでの就業も可能です。

Do you want to attain National Certification as a
Medical Interpreter?
The BTG 64-hour courses qualify as prerequisites for the national certifications provided by the National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters (NBCMI) and the Certification Commission for Health Care Interpreters (CCHI). Upon completing this course, you will receive CEUs (continuing education units) from the International Medical Interpreters Association IMIA as well!

医療通訳士は現場でどのように振る舞うべきでしょうか？ 様々な団体で倫理規定を定めていますが、具体的な判断が難しい状況や規定遵守を難しくするような状況というのも起こり得ます。様々な地域に由来する文化が入ってきて、日本でも文化の多様化が進んでいます。医療通訳者には多文化理解の橋渡しをする役割も求められます。また、メンタルヘルスの現場では何に注意すべきでしょうか…？ Bridging the Gap (BTG) Medical Interpreter Trainingは、30年の歴史を有する医療通訳トレーニングであり、長年の信頼により米国内だけでなく米国外でも広く認知されています。2017年にプログラムが大幅に改新され、初期の40時間プログラムにメンタルヘルスに関連した内容を加えた64時間プログラムが提供されるようになりました。BTGコース修了時に得られるCertificateは,米国のNational Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters (CMI) および Certification Commission for Health Care Interpreters (CCHI) が定める医療通訳者の認定資格を得るのに求められる「a Certificate of Completion from an approved medical interpreter training course」に該当します。さらに、コースを修了した際は,International Medical Interpreters Association(IMIA)からCEU(Continuing Education Unit)を受けることができます!
Learn the necessary skills and best practices to become a qualified medical interpreter through lecture-based lessons, interactive role-plays, case studies, medical terminology, basic body functions, and group discussions. This course will also provide students with the knowledge and understanding necessary to interpret Mental Health Settings and the LGBTQIA community.
At the end of the course, participants receive a signed and individually numbered certificate of successful completion after passing the final exam with a score of 70% or higher. This certificate does not expire and is widely accepted across the country as the gold standard for medical interpreter training. You will also receive a copy of our Bridging the Gap textbook, a bilingual medical glossary, and a mental health glossary (for the 64-hour BTG course).
