Bridging the Gap は米国で最も歴史があり、信頼されている医療通訳士養成プログラムです。これまでに本プログラムの修了生から米国認定医療通訳士資格取得者を輩出してきました。
本プログラムは、米国認定医療通訳士資格の受験資格を得るための承認プログラムであり、全64時間のカリキュラムにはメンタルヘルス分野における医療通訳士の役割と基礎も含まれています。
修了後には修了証（CERTIFICATE）が発行され、米国の遠隔医療通訳サービスエージェンシーでの就業も可能です。

The 64-hour Bridging the Gap (BTG) program is officially approved as one of the qualifying medical interpreter training programs that fulfill the mandatory training prerequisites for national certification examinations administered by the National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters (NBCMI) and the Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters (CCHI).

Bridging the Gap（BTG） は、30年以上の歴史と実績を誇る、米国で最も歴史ある医療通訳研修プログラムの一つです。その教育の質と信頼性は、米国内外で広く認知されています。
本講座は、医療通訳に必要な専門知識と通訳技術に加え、職業倫理、行動規範、文化的多様性への理解を深める64時間の総合トレーニングプログラムです。
医療用語や解剖生理学の基礎をはじめ、実際の医療現場を想定したロールプレイ、グループディスカッションを通して、的確な判断力と実践的な対応力を養います。
さらに、メンタルヘルスやLGBTQIA+の患者さんへの医療支援における通訳など、多様化する医療現場に求められる専門的な知識と配慮についても学びます。
‐全米医療通訳認定試験の受験資格
64時間Bridging the Gapプログラムは、CCHIおよびNBCMI（CMI）の両認定機関から、全米医療通訳認定試験の受験に必須となる研修要件を満たすプログラムとして正式に認可されています。
‐修了証
全課程を履修し、最終試験で70%以上の成績を収めた受講者には、署名と個別の認定番号が記載された、有効期限のない修了証（Certificate of Completion） が授与されます。
教材には、Bridging the Gap 公式テキスト（英語）、医療用語集、メンタルヘルス用語集が含まれます。

Bridging the Gap (BTG) is one of the longest-established medical interpreter training programs in the United States, with a longstanding tradition of excellence in professional interpreter education.
Our comprehensive 64-hour program equips students with essential interpreting skills, professional ethics, and standards of practice through interactive role-plays, real-world case studies, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and group discussions. Specialized training also covers mental health interpreting and LGBTQIA+ healthcare settings.
National Certification Eligibility
Our 64-hour Bridging the Gap program is officially approved by both CCHI and NBCMI (CMI) as a qualifying training program that fulfills the mandatory training requirement for national medical interpreter certification examinations.
Certificate of Completion
Participants who pass the final exam with a score of 70% or higher receive a signed, individually numbered Certificate of Completion with no expiration date.
Course materials include the Bridging the Gap textbook, a bilingual medical glossary, and a mental health glossary.
